The aim of this site is to provide information about the art of Jan Sirks. The research was able to be completed thanks to the careful preservation of the sketchbooks, letters and diaries by the daughter of Jan Sirks, the late Louise Briels-Sirks. The images are of original etchings,paintings and drawings and are used with full permission from several private collectors.These art-works provide a detailed representation of the multiple aspects of the artist’s work.
